It's Fry-day!

“It’s Friday, Friday, Gotta get down on Friday..”
                       --Hahaha, Rebecca Black, ikaw ba yan?

Yes! It's Friday again! And tomorrow is Saturday! Rebecca-ng -Rebecca na talaga!

Anyways, speaking of ways, highways, nagtaas na ang toll fare. So? Hahaha, wala lang, I just don't know how to start this post.

At, talagang maraming nagsabing, bitin na bitin sila sa bakasyon, unlike daw sa school, where we can spend our vacation for two long months.
Lahat kami'y nagsabing: "Sana Friday na!"

Why do people so love Fridays?
KIER: Since after Fridays, are weekends, and during weekends, we can do whatever, whereever, and whenever we want! It's our free days! Free from work, free from tiredness, stress, worries. And super strees-free much!

And since it(Friday) is the last day of regular working days, we intend to enjoy those Fridays like we don't have due dates/works to settle.

Today is the last Friday of April 2011.
My officemates and I spent the most of the whole day together.

We started our working shift with free snacks(merienda), courtesy of our office for all the Birthday celebrants and newly hires for the month of April.
We were given three rolls of Lumpiang Shanghai, one Empanada, Pancit Malabon, and a slice of 'kakanin'.
Yum! Yum! Yum!

While eating our free snacks in pantry, until 6pm, in the prod floor, where were all doing our works, we'd been tuning in to the much awaited wedding of the century, William-Kate's Royal Vows, na halos naiwan na namin ang mga aming ginagawa just to witness even a glimpse of this prime event.
To conclude, I gracefully congratulating the Newly-Wed Couple, William and Kate, and I'm sorry for not attending your wedding. Sorry po talaga. Close? hahaha.

After watching, we joined Tin, our teammate, in watching the Mini-Concert(and meet and greet) of her Korean Pop idols, 2AM, in Piazza Mall, just around our office buliding.
She's a true KPOP fan! But unfortunately, we've only seen them on their meet and greet.

How 'bout you? How did you spend you Friday?

Friday, Saturday, Sunday.. Monday! Monday nanaman!

Blog updated: Apr 30 2011

Isama ko na dito ang mga napansin ko kanina sa MV ni Rebecca, since we were talking about her from the start.
I just watched this, this afternoon.

I'm getting hot in here

These past days, we experienced the hotness of Philippine's Summer. And as the weather becomes hotter and hotter, I, especially my mood, also turn to its 100 degrees.

I just don't know why or how, if there's a scientific basis for this.

Thanks for my officemate-friend ROSA, who really understands my mood swing everytime I tell to her my current situation.

After all..

Sa wakas, after long wait, na-update ko na rin ang aking BB Curve 8900 to v5.0!
I've waited this for so loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong.

MyBB v5.0 REVIEW

The best feature I like the most about this new version, is the chat-style SMS conversation. Like in iPhone/s, BB handlers can easily review their previous conversations. It's like chatting on hand!

And mostly, what I love about BlackBerry, together with Orange, its OS, it has an Update/Upgrade feature, where consumer/s, like me, can experience newest features available to their phones without buying new one/model. It's definitely like buying a new one!

I'm super loving it, baby! (Hahaha, kumusta naman ang 'baby'?)

How far will my conscience go?

She was standing at the corner of the street. And when She saw me walking towards the street(her), biglang siyang nagsalita ng: "Anak, anak, kahit konting tulong lang. "

I really wanted to be a Philanthropist. But?

Nakakakonsensiya.

LOVE is the Most Important Element of Life

We just attended the Sunday mass or "Linggo ng Palaspas" this morning—sayang nga Wala akong camera para magpa-picture habang nagpapalaspas. Cute ko pa naman nun, hahaha!

We learned that before, there were only three important elements for us to live:

Water: We can still live even without food. With only water, it can still supply our everyday body needs. It was the most important element;
Air/Oxygen: Imagine ourselves living without breathing? Of course, we can't live without our breath. So, it was the second most important element. And;
Fire: Eating flesh? We're not a Cannibal. We need fire to cook our favorite foods. Hence, it was the third.

But Father(sorry, hindi ko kilala si Father Priest) preached that the most important element now is none other than our own L-O-V-E. Yes, we can still live without LOVE, but we cannot live it to its fullest. Tamaaa?

This Lenten Season, let (Loving) our LOVEs be our priority. Make this an obligation everyday, hour, second.
Don't just Love, Love, and Love. But LOVE and LOVE and LOVE and LOVE and LOVE and LOVE and LOVE and LOVE and LOVE and LOVE and LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE!!!

I LOVE Me.
I LOVE You.

Tamang Trip lang

Ano ba itong mga taong ito? Mga walang magawa sa buhay.

Hahaha, KIER(Care) ko naman!

You're so 'BAIT'!

Bye, bye Isan! Thank you for being part of Team W.

*sigh

I am pretty much sure that we—especially Rose and I—will be missing Isan. He'd been our Voyager tutor for the past five weeks on the Prod floor. Like me, I'll miss his laugh—bullying me—every time I make mistakes in updating Voyager.

To Isan(and to all our former teammates-Pearl, Ava, Kris, Japh & others):
There's no permanent in this world. I knew it from the start that We (Team W) will not be forever working at the same office. But I hope our Team's own 'Camaraderie' spirit will remain wherever our fate leads us.
Have a Good Relationship to your New Officemates! And We wish you all the success on you newest career as a Business Unit Accountant!
Good Job, Isan!

You're the Team's only 'IAMBAIT'!
Salamat sa picture, ROSA! hahaha

FENKShip FOREVER

While I was taking a bath this afternoon, I'd been thinking something I can discuss here. And as the water flew, I thought of our ever since high school group—FENKs!
During our high school days, we're all into naming our own group (or barkadas).

This may be the best time that we reminisce those times we had before since all of us are now busy on our respective careers.

Anyways, you might be thinking what our group name means. And honestly speaking, I am too, have been thinking what this really mean. Hehehe. What I remember is, when we were having our recess—some time in our junior years—one of us thought of naming our group for us to have an identity—hahaha, corny, but it's true! We thought of different names, which have to be unique and for our classmates to easliy remember! FENKs it is! From the word PINK, I think?—basta ganun, mahirap i-explain! Hahaha.

The group consists of six. Three girls, and three boys (???), namely (in alphabetical order—para walang superiority feeling!): Cybill, Jason, Kier (it's me!), Kim, Sarah, and Stephany.

FENKS is FUNNY!
F-Forever Friendly
U-Understanding
N-Never kang iiwan
N-Nandyan parati kung kailangan mo
Y-Youthful (???) Isip-bata kuno. Hahaha

Each has his own identity.

For past six years, we've already encountered all the joy and happy moments like any other friendships had.

Only FENKs was sent to Guidance Office due to many different violations:
  • Caught swimming after our Quarterly exam,
  • Malling while wearing our school uniform,
  • Caught—out of knowing—while screaming in the middle of our Roller Coaster ride experience in Pixie Forest, Festival Mall, Alabang,
  • Using our Teacher's Quarter's own whole body mirror while talking too loud and noisy—like we don't care about them (our teachers),
  • Caught smoking and drinking in street after class,
  • Pulling our classmate's hair—haha, konting kababawan lang!

Times have passed.

Six years ago, times when we were all sharing our plans after we graduate from college.
Six years later, times have changed each of us. We're now enjoying those dreams!

Cybill and Stephany are now employees of one of the most beautiful Casinos in Pasay, after they graduated with the degree of HRM! Jason, who really wants to be a Doctor, is now on his second year of MD in UST! After I finished taking Management Accounting, I am now an Equity Research Analyst in FactSet, Taguig! Kim, our Registered Nurse, is now a CC Agent while waiting for a great opportunity in hospital. And Sarah, the most beautiful mother of Chino, is now enjoying her motherhood!

*Sigh. How fast time really flies?

Love my FENKship!

"The Family that Prays together, Stays together. "

I can't wait to blog this! And guess where I am writing this at 2:24 in the morning? Yeee, I'm writing through my BB Word To Go! Thanks myBB! Ow, this lets me enjoy what I have now and not to look for what I do not have—Laptop! Anyone who can give me one is very much appreciated!

Back to this, just last night, Mama cleaned her closet to give way to all of her other clothes. (TRIVIA: Among our family, she has the largest number of clothes! She really invests in buying clothes ever since she was a college student—that was what she's been telling us.)

And this is what she found!

This was my letter for her (them, for Papa too) when we were having our retreat back in 2006. Since then she kept this behind her clothes inside their closet for almost five years. This was what I've been telling you before.

The letter says: (Dated March 14, 2006; Tuesday)

KieR

For Mama and Papa: Words are not enough to say how much we value your hardships to our family. We may be having our hard times for now, but surely, with God's help our family will be much tighter after all of this.

We must never give up.

"The Family that Prays together, Stays together. "

Love,

Over the Weekends

After I graduated from college, one thing I notice is that, I easily fail to recall what I planned.

So, this week, I noted these things that I must be done over these weekends.

  • Shoe shine Since it was too dusty from using it everyday on my work, I did a make-over to my one and only pair of pamasok shoe. Whew! Shining, shimmering, splendid!
  • Encashoops, I should have written ‘Withdraw’ instead of ‘Encash’my salary! Before shopping, withdraw first my money!  I’m so happy, since no tax was withheld.
  • Shopping?!? Shop, shop, supah shop! Like what Rose and I always say every time our pay-out day comes. We both agree that buying clothes must be part of our investments.

TRIVIA: Last two weeks, I bought this book of Gary Paulsen 'Hatchet' for only Php 50.00! Since then, I am still on its Chapter 12—I'm such a Beginner!
  • Read! I believe that: “Lamang ang may Maraming Alam”. One of my New Year’s Resolutions was to read and read and read.. as many as my mood wants. Like what I always say, Learning must not end after we finish schooling.
  • Blog? And so I wrote this.

  • Help Paola Paola asked me to help her find the best resort located in Pansol, Laguna for them to have a Team Building this coming May.—well, we’ll be joining them!
  • Trim finger nails and toe nails—this is the only thing I should not forget to do every weekend.

  • Copy song/s from PC to phone Nakaka-LLS(Last Song Syndrome) kasi ang Price tag of Jessie J. ♫“Forget about the price tag…”♫ hehehe..
  • And lastly, buy MultivitaminsIs Sodium Ascorbate a Multivitamin?—Especially these days, when everyone is easily getting colds and coughs.

I hope you did enjoy the weekends, like what I had.

Work, work, work again tomorrow.

Smile guys.

Nice One, Japh

Japh,

It’s been awhile since you met us. And with that ‘awhile’, you showed us the True meaning of being a True Teammate, Brother, and Friend.
May you find your Best Success to your Chosen Career.

Nice one, Japhet Penaflor, CPA
*Thanks sa Dinner treat!
Ka-touch ang last message mo sa amin:
click to enlarge.
Why can't we get all the people together in the world that we really like and then just stay together? I guess that wouldn't work.  Someone would leave.  Someone always leaves.
Then we would have to say good-bye.  I hate good-byes.  I know what I need.  I need more hellos.

I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next.
May you always have work for your hands to do.
May your pockets hold always a coin or two.
May the sun shine bright on your windowpane.
May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you.
And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.
~Irish Blessing

Goodbyes are not forever.
Goodbyes are not the end.
They simply mean I'll miss you all
Until we meet again!

Team 'W'ithdrawal?

In my 21 years of existence, I've never felt that I am as special and important in a peer, or in a group.

this was borrowed here.

Ngiti/tawa mula kay:
*Rose, sa tuwing sumisenyas ako kay 'T';
*Maria, sa tuwing sinasabi ko ang mga katagang 'Ketch' at 'Ded';
*Paola, sa tuwing tumitingin ako kay Kris;
*Pam, sa tuwing kakanta ako ng 'Papa Americano';
*Sherwin, sa tuwing ipapakita ko ang mga bote ng Minute Maid sa Shuttle Van;
*Jeff, sa tuwing tuturuan niya ako sa mga natututunan niya kay Voyager;
*Hamza, sa tuwing maarte ko siyang tatawagin;
*Isan, sa tuwing ipapa-alala ko sa kanya ang update ko tungkol sa Reserves;
*Mark, sa tuwing tatawagin ko siyang 'Marky'
*Jove, sa tuwing kukumustahin ko ang tungkol sa kanyang Japan employment;
*Joef, sa tuwing nakikita ko siyang kumakanta at sumsayaw;
*Aris, sa tuwing sinasabi niya ang 'Be KIER-ful'(na pangalan ng blog site kong ito)
*Japh, sa tuwing binabati niya akong "Hi, Kier!"

Ngunit, sana kung dumating man ang panahong tayo'y tuluyan nang mabuwag, we continue to be a 'Winner' as individuals.

"Never Say NEVER"Justin BiKIER, hahaha

Love you Team W.
