Pee versus Poof

Last Friday evening, when my younger sister went back home, she bought two Magazines (one is March 2011 issue of Candy Mag) for only Php100 (a great finds for late issues!) in SM Supermarket (where the other one did her best friend get).

There's a portion on the issue tackling teenager's worst experiences inside the bathroom. It caught my eyes and didn't hesitate to finish reading. Just to join the crowd, I also have the worst experience:

At our office, I only pee and wash my hands (or clean up) in a 'private' gent's rest room. It has one cubicle bowl attached in the wall, one ordinary cubicle (with door), and a sink Every time I use the room, I turn and twist its door knob to know if someone's occupying it already, and when someone doesn't, (and when I get inside the room) I see to it that I turn the knob twisted again to lock.

One moment: I entered the room and locked the door. I unzipped my pants and started to pee.

When peeing, I heard something's (somehow, it's 'someone') inside the other door (where one cubicle is placed).

Someone's poofing!

I suddenly smelled (and HEARED!) his outburst that I didn't smell when I first entered. And by the time I finish my business, (I don't want Him to see me using also the room) I quickly turned my way out of the room without washing my hands! I really don't know that someone's already occupying the space!

For his sake, he must have locked the door before doing his business!

Worst experience. Worst smell. =))

Counter-strike

When: September 16, 2011; Friday
Where: Public Bus (Baclaran-Edsa MRT route)
Who: Me, who's slightly harassed

Isa pala siyang 'manyak'.

Sisigawan at mumurahin.

+++++
Bakit kaya may mga ganitong klaseng tao? Mga bastos, mga manyak! #FollowGodNOTdemon

One of a Kind Success?

Life is full of success for us to discover.

I received a chat message from my long-time friend (since high school) saying that I am now living my life successfully. I'd just thought that my friend was just commending with what I've been having now. A not so best work + family + friends. Honestly speaking? I'm still not as successful as what she thought. (Excuse me po.) I was not born from a billionaire family nor studied in an exclusive university in the country. I still have more ambitions and dreams to be accomplished. And by that time comes, I can proudly say that I'm living my life to its fullest, with success!

Take this:
"Success is not measured by how far you are from others, but how far you exceeded your dreams and expectations."
-KIER Cuevas (Yes, this is my own aphorism!)

I still have more to get, more to attain, more to accomplish (you too, right?). I am not saying that I am not contented with what I've been living now. But (of course), we still explore and discover more and more until such time we find what we really want and need.

At the end of the day, it's all up to us. We have our life, and we (not anyboby) control it.

One of a Kind.

Yay! I'm wet

It was as 'Yay!' as 'Yuck!'

Last Friday, around 2:40 in the afternoon (my time to head off for work), I was stuck in the middle of raining angry cats and dogs! And while they were busy fighting, their outbursted tears brought me (actually us) into a 'last day of the week' DISASTER!

After alighting from the Jeepney, I stood at the side of Coastal-to-Baclaran road (or MIA road as it is) to wait for a bus (with route going to Edsa). But when I realized that my pants and shoes were that super wet, I looked for a place where I can shed off and ran to a hotel (actually it's Bayview Hotel). I joined others who were also stranded and just stayed in front of the hotel (right in front of their main entrance's door).

While waiting for the rain to stop (and for the bus to arrive), I didn't notice that the water was starting to get high and reached my shoes.

Yay!

Oh, the water's reaching the first step of the hotel's main entrance.

Si Manong nahulog pa ata yun cellphone! Sayang!

To better see the signage of the buses (if it's going to Edsa-MRT), I decided to take off my shoes, left my socks on my feet, and walked through that dirty-canal-scent flood (for the second time!).

Haha, it’s funny how passengers looked at me (especially my feet) when I finally took a bus.

When I logged in to our office by 4:06 (which simply means that I'm already 36 minutes late! Argh!), I quickly went to my work station and asked my officemates to help me buy a new pair of slippers, since my shoes and socks were so wet!

For Php 120.00, I bought this Skull printed Tripper slippers from 7-Eleven (near our building). +haha, cute lang ng mga daliri ko sa paa!

My wallet ended up with only Php 20.00 (from gross of Php 170, less Php 120 for the slippers, less Php 30 worth of Big Pandesal from Pan De Manila). Yey! #TGIF!

I remember my very first encounter of flood is when I was in my junior years back in college. It was at around 6 in the evening, after my last class, and will be heading to home. A sudden heavy rain came by, then a (below-the-knee level) FLOOD. And with no concrete knowledge of what to do (and the urge to go home early since expect that after a heavy rain is a heavy traffic), I bravely walked through that black (below-the-knee level) water, holding my school shoes in my left hand, my umbrella in my right, while left my socks on my feet (to prevent from any debris I could step in since I forgot to bring an emergency slippers). And the feeling while I'm taking my seat at the back of the bus for home? Yuckish!

And then there's this incident again. I was out of my mind; do not know what to do.

I do not know if it was planned by our heavenly Father, but I'm pretty sure, this must be charged to my own experience to be well-prepared, calm, and focus when this incident happens again.

Perfect Combination

From the time Pan De Manila had opened their branch (near our office in Mc Kinley Hill) last month, we don't miss to buy their Hot Pandesals everyday for our merienda. It's been our daily source of energy for almost seven hours of work, aside for McDo and KFC meals. It's also been our tradition to buy a bunch of it in the evening, for the next day's breakfast.

I personally like their BIG Pandesal. It's worth paying Php 6.00! They also have Small Pandesal for Php 3.25; Big Wheat Pandesal for Php 6,25; and others! (haha, advertisement please!) You can eat it on it's own (haha, like what Gardenia Bread TVC says), but (believe it or not) I eat it with powdered Milo!

Yeah! Saraaaap!

HOW: I just split the pandesal in the middle and pour about quarter (of a sachet) of powdered (remember, it should be 'Powdered' not dissolved or liquified) Milo, and ola! My very own OfficeCombo! (Office, since I only do this at my work station in our office)

You will taste the sweetness blend of Pandesal and Milo. While eating, you will feel the mouthful blast of powder spreading on your tongue and outside of your mouth, so you may eat it with care. +BeKIERful! haha

I recommended this to my officemate/seatmate Joyce (and also to my friends), and they also do this. (Hehe, she doesn't want her face to be shown here in my blog, so I just took her a shot while eating her pandesal, from behind.)

Try this too!
